My Problem

The camera in my 6 Plus had gone bad a months ago and was getting worse. The image stabilizer would jerk the camera off center on its own every second or so. Apple store said it may be the camera, but it could also be the motherboard. :/ I decided to just change the camera myself with parts from iF . . .

The repair went bad at first. I got the battery out and connected it back, but the right side of screen didn't work. Did some research and someone described the monitor cable clip as legos. Tried again and felt them all snap into place on both sides of each cable and th . . .

My Problem

So my friends IPhone 6 Plus was turned off for 3 years and she needed a new battery because it was dying at 40 %

My Fix

Haha, this was funny, so when I was trying to pull the battery out, I accidentally made a giant hole in the battery on the bottom where the glue was at. So I had to call my local repair sh . . .

My Problem

So the battery was draining way to fast and even though I could upgrade, why spend $700 for a new phone when I could fix the current one for $50 or less. note: have a back/up plan for that just-in-case-the-adhesive-strip-breaks-off moment. Have some dental floss or a heating pad to warm up the back . . .

My Problem

The battery was toast. 2 hours between charges, always died at 35%.

My Fix

Simple enough. I love that the kit also included replacement philips head screws to replace the non-standard case screws. The left and center adhesive strip broke, but I was able to fish them out without bending the battery up too . . .
