Note

Lithium ion battery shipping regulations limit the shipping methods for orders containing batteries. Domestic orders may only be shipped via Standard shipping. iFixit is not able to ship batteries internationally or outside the contiguous US at this time. iFixit Customer Support will contact you if your order needs to be modified after it is placed.

Note

The new "Battery Health" feature in iOS 11.3 is not compatible with this aftermarket battery. The battery will perform properly but iOS will not report on its health. The battery bar that displays how much charge you have left still works properly as well.

While not necessary, some fixers prefer to use additional tools to accomplish this repair: iOpener and Plastic Card.

Lithium-ion batteries pose a fire hazard if they swell due to age or defect. Learn more about safe handling and proper disposal of all batteries.
