My Problem

I felt that battery did not have the life in it that it used to.

My Fix

Great. Easy. The guide was spot on with great pictures

My Advice

The tool kit I got made it easy, the step by step guide made it easier. I had almost no problems at all. I have replaced a faulty lock button on a previous iPhone model so openin . . .

My Problem

iPhone was dead

My Fix

Taking the iPhone apart was easy. Getting the battery out was another story. Evidently the strips that were supposed to be under the battery to help with easier removal was left off. About half way through trying to unstick the glued battery it started smoking and then went up in a . . .

My Problem

Battery life was poor

My Fix

The repair went well. The most difficult part is getting the battery adhesive off. The strips break easily. We had to use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive

My Advice

Be careful pulling the adhesive strips off. If you can get them out the first time, it makes things easier.

My Problem

My original iPhone 6 battery was running down so fast, I was often caught off-guard with no service. Now, my phone has gone down only 3% in 3 hours or more!

My Fix

The repair was fine until all re-connected and the screen kept displaying intermittent white bars at the tope of the screen, just deep enough t . . .

My Fix

As a first time opening up the iPhone, it wasn't all that bad. I did have some assistance from my father from doing other iPhone repairs such as more battery replacements and even the difficult screen replacements. The other thi . . .

My Problem

The battery was not lasting very long and the remaining battery indicator was very inaccurate.

My Fix

Great. The only issue was removing the adhesives, as I didn't maintain them flat al the way, so they broke in one point. It was hard but eventually I was able to grab them back with the twizzers.

My Problem

Original battery was not holding a charge

My Fix

Simple and the step by step instructions made it a breeze.

My Advice

I lay out a piece of paper a draw a diagram of where all the screws go. As I remove them I place them on the paper. This keeps you from getting any of them mixed up.

My Problem

After nearly three years of hard use, my iPhone 6 Plus rarely made it the whole day on one charge. I ordered the battery and repair kit (highly recommended), and followed the step-by-step instructions. The only difficulty was that my three adhesive strips did not pull out. I had to scrape them off t . . .

My Problem

My stock battery was down to 30% of its original capacity.

My Fix

The repair was easy enough. Pulling the adhesive strips was the hardest part, be patient, go slow. Also, be very careful putting the new adhesive on the replacement battery. It's thinner than tissue paper and if you wrinkle it, you will ne . . .
