My Problem

I needed to change the battery on my Ipad mini.

I tried several times with a hairdryer to loosen the glue without any luck.

I then ordered the Fixit opener from US, and it arrived i my postbox in Norway after one week.

My Fix

I heated the opener in my microwave and following the instruction I managed to ope . . .

Initially a broken iPad screen but in the replacement process I damaged the LCD screen so that had to be replaced as well.

My Fix

Working through the repair guide for the screen replacement was straight forward. And the second time thru it when I replaced the LCD was even easier and I took my time and doub . . .

My Problem

The battery had developed bad cells and wouldn't hold a charge for more than a minute or so. The iPad mini was otherwise intact so it made sense to try and replace the battery.

My Fix

There was a time after removing the LCD that the instructions weren't super clear about separating the LCD from some tape (b . . .

iPad Mini LCD was only showing a white line with no picture, but the hardware could be seen by the computer.

Repair took a long time and was tedious...The iOpener pack was not getting hot enough to loosen the glue so i had to repeat the softening process several times, besides that the repair went we . . .
