My Problem

The battery had bulged and forced the display to gap in a couple places. This actually made it easier to open the iPad.

My Fix

Very straight forward however, I used the WIFI repair guide and my iPad has Cell built in too. There are two more mini coaxial connectors and a little more work than the guide sho . . .

My Problem

Our iPad was having difficulty initiating and completing a charge. After charging to 100% and removing from charger, power quickly dropped to nothing in a few minutes. I tried removing apps, resetting the iPad, and completing a full charge cycle. Nothing seemed to help and the iPad became unusabl . . .

The headphone jack in my kindle quit working. The tool and part on iFixIt totaled about $11 so I decided to give it a shot.

My Fix

It was difficult to get the Kindle apart.

My Advice

Once we figured out that it was best to pry the top (the side with the camera) open first, it got a little easier. The clips on the t . . .

My Problem

This was a troubled phone. The charging port worked, but there was no access to data on the unit; and the data partition was corrupted, so that I couldn't get past the file system check no matter what boot method (standard, recovery, safe) I used. So this system couldn't even be rooted.

My Fix

My Fix

Removing the front screen was easy enough although the spudger isnt as good as the ifixit opening tool (isnt sharp enough).

Removing the old assembly was simple enough too, just make sure that when you remove a screw, you put it down is a way that lets . . .

My Problem

Attempt to swap the motherboard for changing firmware version

My Fix

PS Vita Slim is really easy to tear apart comparing to other gadgets I had. Easy swap and it just works. Although I actually have an PS Vita Slim and the guide seems to be all about the PS Vita 1000 model, it went through easily.
