My Problem

Ipod Nano would not turn on...Diag-guessed dead battery, which I replaced. Apparently was not the problem:(

With a little patience was able to get the back off without damaging it. Started opening at the bottom next to docking connector. Followed directions for disassembly which went easy enough. rem . . .

My Problem

My daughter was given a new Nano ipod 3rd gen but she never used it but left it sit in a drawer for years. The battery was severely dead!

My Fix

I bought the battery kit but ended up using my trusty Swiss picket knife to open the ipod! I successfully replaced the battery. But all I got was a dim blue dis . . .

My Problem

My Ipod 3rd generation turns on but shuts off right away. I went ahead and opened it up to look at the battery. It looks rusty. So I went ahead and bought the replacement battery kit. It arrived shortly after which I was surprised.

My Fix

The repaid did not work. I now dont know what is wrong with this ipod . . .

Battery would not hold a charge

My Fix

Difficult opening the case, after that it went pretty well. It's working the way it should and I am happy!

My Advice

Take your time, don't rush the repair. I used a piece of masking tape to hold the screws and small parts so they would'nt get lost. I am pleased with ifixit, fast . . .

Perché la batteria era completamente esaurita, non teneva più la carica (al massimo mezz'ora scarsa)...

Ho riparato l'iPod ma ho danneggiato la copertura posteriore...

Servono piccole esperienze manuali nella saldatura e nel cambio vero e proprio della batteria e dei contatti è comodo l'aiuto di un . . .

My Problem

My iPod kept going blank screen during the day, sometimes a few hours into the day sometimes a few minutes. A screen with a battery came up a few times so I guess it needed a new one.

My Fix

Putting in the new battery was easy, getting the back off the iPod , not so easy.

My Advice

Take your time getting the back off, . . .

My Problem

My old iPod Nano's battery need to be replaced.

My Fix

How did the repair go? I don't know as I had to take it somewhere that can as I don't have a soldering gun. I would have if I did. Now I'm testing it to find how long the battery lasts before recharging it. so far so good.
