My Problem

The display began to flicker when using the MacBook on my lap. Gradually it reached the point where the display would only be on at a 75 degree angle or less.

My early 2009 MacBook was having an issue where the screen would flicker and sometimes cut out when tilted at certain angles. It was rather annoying. follow the step by step instructions. it took about 4 hrs. so far so good. no more lines.

I placed the screws in small zip lock bags and labeled with the step number to keep them straight. be prepared for this to take 3 to 4 hours. take your . . .

My Problem

Original display cable wore out over time, so the display would go blank if you open it too far.

My Fix

Repair went ok, it did take longer than I expected.

Everything worked when I was done.

Remember how the original cable was routed around the hinge, and how the microphone cable attaches to the display cab . . .
