Identification and Background
The PlayStation 2 Slimline SCPH-900xx was released in November 22, 2007. It contains some minor appearance changes. It has a redesigned hardware which incorporates the power supply into the console itself which increases the console's weight to 720 grams (25 oz).
The xx in the title is a placeholder for the different regional codes which are listed below:
- SCPH-90000: Japan
- SCPH-90001: Northern America (US and Canada)
- SCPH-90002: Oceania (Australia and New Zealand)
- SCPH-90003: United Kingdom and Ireland
- SCPH-90004: Europe, Middle East and Africa
