Background
The PDP Afterglow Fener is a wireless headset made by PDP. It was released on October 12th, 2014. It can no longer be purchased from the PDP website, but it still available from locations such as Best Buy.
The PDP Afterglow Fener is quite a large headset that is mainly purchased/used for gaming on the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, or PC. This generation of headset from PDP offered longer lasting battery life for the wireless headset, as well as improved sound quality. The headset also features a built-in, boom-less microphone with noise cancelling to improve the sound of your voice. This headset was replaced on the PDP website by the Afterglow AG 9 Premium headset.
Identification
The PDP Afterglow Fener stands out from other PDP headsets because it’s white/grey instead of the usual black. The Afterglow logo is printed along the top of the headband, and “PDP” is embossed on the inside of the hinges. This model is also unique for its green LED lighting in the earcups—or, in Blackout Mode, the headset’s inner circuitry is visible. To confirm the model name and number, check the bottom edge of the earcups.
