The Insignia Flex 8 tablet can stream videos, play games and browse the Internet. It features a Quad core processor, wi-fi connectivity, Android operating system, 8" screen with 1280 x 800 resolution,16GB internal storage plus microSDHC slot, Dual cameras for photos and face-to-face chat. It runs off a rechargeable battery, connects to the internet via wi-fi, connects to other devices via Bluetooth, plays sound via internal speakers or headphones, touchscreen, utilizes micro SD and micro USB port.

There are varying results on when this tablet was made. Based on these results it is estimated the device was released on the market circa the holiday shopping season of 2012. It was created by Tianshi Digi-Lando. The research also found varying information about the cost of the device at its release, ranging from $99-$299. The device is currently priced at $79 and is discontinued from manufacture. There is no information on the results on how many were sold that could be found.
