Hard Drive Upgrade Problem

Hi! I upgraded the hard drive on my macbook using SuperDuper. Everything works but now MS Office 2008 does not start. It goes to the Setup Assistant and gives me an option to go to the net to register where I get Microsoft site to upgrade to Office 11.

Any ideas? I still have my old hard drive.

If your old Office worked, change the date on your computer and back it up a couple of years. Then use migration assistant to move the app. Open it up and see if it runs Office OK. Reset your time and date.

This is a software problem, not a hard drive problem. iFixit generally does not address software issues, there are other, better forums for that.

Manually copy all the Office files from the old drive to the new drive. Pay attention particularly to the Application Support files.
