The connector from the keyboard to logic board broke.

I have a power book g4 17 inch and when i was taking apart the computer to put a new hard drive in I accidentally broke the connecter on the logic board which connects to a cable from keyboard and tackpad. Is there any way of fixing this.

Unless you can make a good connection with the connector you will probably have to replace the logic board. If you can make a solid connection it may be possible to tape the cable to the logic board. Good luck. Ralph

Could you take a high resolution pict of the damaged connector then upload the pict in your question ? It would be easier to give a good answer if we can see the damage.
