@replicachine no, you can't. Not the 15" only the 13" will take 16GB

thank you for your reply, but on some videos on youtube they say it is impossible, this is what people who have tested it say. You know I would not want to spend money on a product that I will then have to throw away. I am very undecided whether to do it or not.🙄

@replicachine the 8GB is the official answer and apparently places like OWC etc. support the official version. Then there is the unofficial version that people have actually tried and succeeded. Apparently, some have experienced frequent Kernel issues etc. with the16GB.

May be you can just get some inexpensive modules that you could return, in case it does not work for you, and give it a try :-) Like I said, officially it's a no go.
