Why doesn't my 15 por max turn on after dropping in water?

My 15 pro max has a cracked screen, I dropped it in water accidentally ,and now it will not even power up anymore. I have a lot of important stuff in that phone so I really need to get it working again. I need to change that cracked screen and get it to turn on again, what could the problem be, and how could I fix it? I think I've come to the right place. PLEASE HELP!

Because you dropped it into water with the screen cracked?

Liquid damage is beyond DIY, send it to a reputable phone data recovery lab as soon as possible, water corrodes the motherboard and it can quickly become much worse.
