How about telling what the problem is as often time the error messages list the SMC as the issue but fail to explain it’s the signals getting to it is were one needs to resolve.

I've got a MacBook pro, and I bought a microscope and I try it fix. The ASD program write SMC connect error. I measured resistance, it was on a few parts, I found everything fine. I thought I should replace the SMC. The megsafe connector never was light, but sometimes it did, and if I started it like that, everything was fine, even the test saw the SMC, the fan didn't run at maximum speed. It could be a GPU error because it restarts many times. However, someone before me may have fixed the machine because it doesn't have the original C9560 part, so I'm going to replace it because it might be causing the error.

@bazsalicom - You likely have more of an issue with the input lines given what you state here than the chip it’s self.

The MagSafe connector LED not light might be a bad charger or the connectors middle pin is not making contact with the DC In-Board connector contacts, it’s not uncommon for the block to have dirt buildup or warp a bit causing the contacts not to mate.
