The LP133WX1-TLA1 is the essential part information... I do not recognize anything similar in the information from the original (there are a variety of Macbooks and starting with the EXACT MODEL is essential to answering any Questions). Apple used four different screens in this machine, LP133WX1-TLA1 being most common, however, others used an N133I1-L01, LTN133W1-L01, or B133EW01. Each LCD looks radically different. Apple does not manufacture LCD panels. They purchased from several different manufacturers. If the panel is the same manufacturer number that originally went into the Macbook. It will be the same quality and type currently in your system.

Please machead, elabortate on the "radical" differences.

On theback of the screen, the shape of the board & placement of the video connector (the fronts do appear similar ).

They all use the same LVDS\video cable, I guess in my world, with that, I wouldn't call the differences radical for the purpose of LCD replacement.

You will most likely fail in your replacement if you use anything but the exact same part. Apple buys these from three different manufactures and they just don't interchange.

I'm just going by my experience and how many I've had to return because they didn't work or the connectors were different. Apple may have corrected the problem by now. But if I order one, I'm not going to take chances. RMAs take time and tie your cash up and customers don't like waiting.
