Is the display unit broken?

Hi,

This is my Fiancee's Macbook Air Early 2015 model (A1466?). She dropped it a while ago and the screen never came back. I have had the case off and disconnected, dusted and reconnected the relevant display connections and it still shows the same. Am I correct in thinking it's time for a full replacement display unit. Have priced these up on eBay and seem reasonable. Or is it something more complicated/expensive?

TIA

To verify you’ll need to plug in an external display, if it’s image is clean in mirror mode then it’s the internal display otherwise the logic board has issues.
