Title says it all. I've ordered the similar tape that's used in iPhone battery replacements, but it'd be nice to have the right item for the job. Alternatively, I guess I could just use double-sided 'scotch tape', since it's likely not hard to remove later?
Thoughts?

If you want the real deal, Apple does sell these sort of consumables for this model. You have to go to their Self Service repair store and use your serial number (for Mac it won't even show you parts without it, which is rather obnoxious).
They sell the two together for $9. Of course that won't help you if you're not in the US since that's presently the only place Apple Self Service Repair is available.

According to the battery and speaker guides from the ifixit MacBook Air 13" Retina Late 2020 guide they use Tesa 61395 Tape

Thanks @jayeff! Don’t know how I missed that in the guide. Seems odd, though, to use something that will be so hard to remove should one have to replace the battery again later…?
I don't think that manufacturers want the user to repair their devices themselves at all. They want them to buy new products or use their service centres (if they have them).
Maybe I'm too cynical though ;-)
Ha! I hear you, but isn't the point of iFixIt to fight back against that tendency? (And I don't think you're cynical at all) My point was to ask why a tape would be recommended that would make a follow-up job (by someone other than Apple) even harder?
No need to respond. It's just good to know that I wasn't missing a reference to replacement tape that worked like the original. I think I'll just go ahead and use the stuff you can buy for iPhone battery replacements like I mentioned above...
