hello if i understand the problem that as soon as you put it to load the apple appears and if you disconnect the cable it disappears and the phone does not turn on and very probably the battery is no longer able to start the phone to check you can use a bench power supply and try to start the phone if it starts you just replace the battery or try to start it again by putting it in charge with the specific tools
YOU CAN USE THIS GUIDE IF YOU THINK ABOUT CHANGING THE BATTERY

Just to be sure I understand, it doesn’t work at all when it’s not charging, but when it’s connected to power the Apple logo will show up like it’s booting normally. Then the Apple disappears, the screen stays lit, but it never actually gets to the Lock Screen?
