erased and reinstalled osx 10.3

had all kinds of software and 1.25 gb running 10.4.11

i erased it and put 10.3 with mac os 9. on it. it tells me i don't have enough memory to reinstall mac os package. why??

it now shows only 512 ram

You might be out of hard disk space, remember there are 2 kinds or memory, hard disk space, and RAM.

MacTracker shows a 512 MB limit to ram. That should still be enough to run OS 10.3. How big is the hard drive? Ralph

Looked it up--OS 10.3 requires 128 MB ram and 3 GB drive space for a full install. Ralph
