Why does my CECHA01 ps3 read Blu-rays and ps3 disks but not ps2 or dvd

My ps3 is a CECHA01 model so it plays ps2 and ps3 disks but recently while I was away from home my brother spilled a cup full of Sunkist on it and ever since then it won’t read ps2 games or dvds but reads ps3 disks and Blu-ray’s with no hesitation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
