I am thinking about putting a black keyboard on my white macbook... Just want to make sure the black MacBook keyboard is the same as the white MacBook keyboard.

It will probably work fine but for the correct part number please give us the last three figures of your serial number.

I agree with mayer. I have mixed and matched and have not run into any problems. Just be aware that some of the keyboards from 2006 will have the apple key on the keyboard and the dashboard key will not exist.
