Popped off flex cable connected to fan

I accidentally popped off the connector part of the flex cable, does anyone know how I can attach it back on?

Tif properly only by soldering it back on. The solder pads look reasonable so it should be a straight forward solder job.

It might be safer and cheaper to have a repair shop do it as they have the tools and know how. probably cost $25 from an old guy, $50 from a young tech.

@Tif if you have never done this, this may not be a good board to practice on. Anybody that has soldered before should be in a position to do this for you. Not sure where you are located but I would inquire in my local electronics store or hobby club. Colleges and RC clubs are also a great resource.

@oldturkey03 agree on all points. These ZIF type connectors have a tendency to go all melty if you're not careful. But a pretty straightforward job.

At the very least if you're going to have a go yourself, get some extra connectors just in case.
