as per your suggestion i can upgrade my mac to 1TB.

But how much RPM of hardisk Should i take.

The larger your hard drive the greater time required to search it. Personally I don't believe in using these huge drives on lap tops. The drive that I prefer is a 7200 360 GB Western Digital Scorpio Black drive. Do your mass storage on an external drive. I see failed hard drives everyday with people desperate to recover their photos and no backup drive. Muscle cars were fun in the days of $0.35 per gallon gasoline but never practical. Put your extra money into that backup drive.

7200 RPM is the way to go for better performance but read the reviews about the specific HD you want to buy. Check for overheating issues in MBP machines.
