According to my sources you can go to 4GB of ram (Apple says 3GB) and a sata drive as large as will fit so you you be able to install at least a 1 TB hard drive. Link provided to a selection of drives sold by ifixit for your computer.

Your machine will take the 12.5 mm SATA 2.5" hard drives as well as the the new 1 TB 9 mm drives. Here are the drives that OWC says will work in your specific machine: http://eshop.macsales.com/Search/Search....
