phone won't respond to anything not even computer input
forgot this phone on the charger when i got my xs and im trying to trade the xs in and don’t want to go weeks without a phone. i left in on the charger for maybe a week or two and now I need it to be my backup. nothing has worked. i tried plugging it into my pc and nothing works. I tried some software and it still didn’t pickup. it just simply won’t turn on and the screen will always be black. I shattered the screen maybe a year ago and everything worked fine up until i left it on the charger. any recommendations would be appreciated

This is no guarantee but I had this problem once and thru pure chance found a solution finally. Leave your iPhone disconnected for 24 hours. When you reconnect be sure you use a lightning cable and connect to a high output portable battery pack, once connected be patient, within 20 minutes mine booted up. Hope this helps
