Cracked bezel - do I need to fix it?

Hi I had something the crease of my screen and I closed it and it cracked. Does this need to be fixed right away or even at all?? If so how do I go about it???

You are so lucky your display still works. It is not repairable, you have to replace the whole display unit and the cost, $500.00 + )if you can find one) will make you want to throw up. Live with it if you can.

Technically the nameplate can be replaced, but it's not an easy process.

The bottom bar is probably repairable, at least for MBP, not sure about the Air.

This is consumer electronics, there is no “need” to, you just “want” to.
