Where I can find a table specifying battery model x MacBook Pro model?

Does anyone know where I can find a table specifying battery model x MacBook Pro model?

I have a MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch Mid 2014, and I have doubts if the battery is the A1494 or A1417.

What I think is confusing is Apple upgraded the batteries chemistry which allowed it to be a bit more powerful. Thats the technical reason there are two different part ID's. The charging curve is a bit different as such I do recommend putting in the correct battery.

Now you have to understand the batteries sold other than the ones Apple installs or an authorized repair center who gets the parts from Apple, are manufactured by others and they can mark the battery as they see fit.

So this then gets into where you buy the battery a fly-by-night Amazon/eBay store or a real brick and mortar store and one that offers a good warranty.
