My MacBook wont power on at all.

I replaced a broken hard drive and now the computer wont turn on at all. When I plug in the magsafe a green light comes on and the battery is fully charged but when I hit the power button nothing happens. Please help.

You seem to have located the problem, it's not getting a start signal from the power button on the upper case. An easy test for a professional with a spare upper case becomes a costly one for you if you don't have one. See if you can find find a local repair guy that will test it out for you on the cheap.
