Where can I find a replacement battery?

Hello, I have a Mid 2010 15in Macbook pro. Recently it has been acting up and is taking 20 hours to fully charge the battery. The funny thing is, the battery still last around 3 hours after a full charge, it just takes 20 hours to get there. I already reset SMC, PRAM, and even reinstalled Lion, nothing works. I went to Apple, and they want $120 for battery replacement since I was like 3 months out of warranty. I checked online, and most shops that sell replacement batteries only sell those older removable ones. I wonder where is a good reputable places to find replacement batteries for those nonremovable battery models?

The fact that your battery is still lasting a long time makes me wonder if the problem is in your charging system. Do you know for sure your battery is the cause of the problem?

Also, if you're sure it's your battery, browse our store. I dont know your exact model but I know we carry batteries for some models!

Download and run Coconut Battery to see if you can spot the problem,(let us know your results), it may not be the battery at all. Please give us the last three figures of your serial number and the model and wattage of your AC charger.

Apple MacBook Pro "Core i5" 2.4 15" Mid-2010 Specs

Identifiers: Mid-2010 15" - MC371LL/A - MacBookPro6,2 - A1286 - 2353*

I suspect your AC Magsafe adapter. Use a voltmeter to test its output. The pin out is on the left of this Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MagSafe

Also check the pins on the cord to see if they are fully extending and the cleanliness of the adpter and port.

eBay would be a good place to find a replacement battery for your MacBook Pro. I usually buy batteries from eBay to replace on the old laptops.

I looked on eBay, only found two listings for my battery model and they are both used with a lot of cycles on them.
