power button stop working after smc reset

I did a smc reset because the fan was spinning at maximum. After that the power button does not turn on the computer, it makes the same combination of lights on the charger as when the smc reset is done. In order to turn on the computer I have to disconnect the battery and charger and then reconnect the charger. But when you press the power button again it shuts down directly. Excuse my English, I'm using an automatic translator. Cheers

Your systems SMC logic has latched its self in a failed condition as it thinks there is something very wrong with your system.

After restarting your system press the D key to enter into diagnostics. Let us know what the error message you got.

Then the logic board has a problem diagnostics doesn't check. I find that hard to believe. Maybe you have bad batteries.

Did you have a liquid spill at some point which got into the keyboard or logic board?
