What logic boards can you easily put in a 2007 macbook? What ones would just fit with no changes needed?

Locgic board that have the same model number are easily interchanged. Just go to Everymac and enter the Model number to see the machine that share that model. http://www.everymac.com/ultimate-mac-loo...

Logic boards with the same model number are the exact same board - obviously that will work. However, there are 11 different motherboard model numbers for the A1181. There are 2 different styles of heat sinks for them, 2 different styles of thermal sensors, 2 different styles of backlight connectors and 2 different styles of bottom case. 2007 was a transition year and every configuration of the A1181 was used that year from early to late. The simple answer to this is the logic boards that require the same heatsink can be used with the same bottom case. The motherboards with the same heatsink and backlight socket are interchangeable with no additional parts needed.
