How do you fix an i-phone that has been rained on ? You can see the home screen if you have a lamp.

megan, you should always list your device, because there are difference in iPhones ;-) anyhow, I would start with these guides Electronics Water Damage and this one Repairing iPhone Liquid Damage After proper cleaning, and replacing the battery, re-evalaute. It appears that you are having backlight issues. Could be either a coil, or an IC, or the LCD, so it's just a matter of narrowing it down. Good Luck and let us know how it is going.
