Replaced HD cable but HD not showing up

So we partially broke the input connector on the logic board that holds the HD cable. Attached are pics of the mistake made. The HD still spins and the HD cable still lights up but the HD is not being read.

Is it possible for the HD cable to get power from

the board while the drive is not being read? Very weird. When we plug in the HD cable to the MLB the HD starts spinning but is not being read.

Ouch! This is not good ;-{

Clearly you managed to damage enough of the pins so the drives data signals, yet the power connections are working.

At this point you’ll need to find someone with good micro soldering skills and access to the needed part to fix your logic board.

Where do you live? Country and nearest city. Maye we can aim you to someone local to you.

Thanks a lot for your response @danj

You actually helped us confirm that the HD can be read while with limited signal strength per the broken pins. We ended up just swapping it out with another 2010 and we are good to go. Thanks a lot for taking the time.
