Start-up Issues related to Battery

1. MBP will start-up with battery removed and will shut-down normally and start-up normally

2. If the charged battery is first installed, the MBP will start normally. Upon normal shutdown, the MBP will not start-up (no response).

3. The magsafe cable shows a green light.

4. The battery indicator shows charging and will come up to 99% charge.

5. New battery did not solve the problem.

6. Removed the battery and performed the >10 second reset. No improvement.

AHT indicates all OK.

I would at least try to do run Apple Hardware Test (AHT) and see if that reports any sort of error that might help you determine the problem.

AHT is on one of the restore discs that came with your computer.
