What is the silver triangular piece in the ps4? What does it do?

I took apart a ps4 today and accidentally broke one of the triangle pieces that sits below those long screws on the power supply. Now the ps4 is acting strange. If I try to move (regardless of direction) it does it's own thing. Not sure what this piece was in charge of, but now it seems like a big deal.

Answer this question I have this problem too

It’s a grounding clip, designed to connect the EMI shield on the lower case.

Not sure what “its own thing” you mean.

Ever since I put the ps4 together, whether I'm in gameplay or on the home screen and I move in any direction, it'll keep moving on its own, or won't even move at all. I can't play games properly because of this issue

That's the problem with the controller, it has nothing to do with case grounding.

So I thought, but I tried a different controller, and the same thing was happening. However, on another PS4 the controller works fine.

Check the antenna cable double check that it is plugged in and the antenna cable bore tip is not broken off on the antenna metal housing.

I assume I may have messed with the metal housing that is connected to the antenna. I didn't know there was something on there that could break
