Why back camera and flashlight does not work?

My iPhone 7 fell before, and it’s LCD broke right after.

The digitizer was totally fine, since I’ve tested it right after.

But after replacing the screen back camera and flashlight does not work ( I know that these depend on each other, so well-known problem).

But after several troubleshoot it does not work at all, let me share what I’ve tried so far.

  1. Reset settings, nothing changed.
  2. Erased all data, nothing changed.
  3. Voiceover turned off,nothing changed
  4. Used iTunes to erase and install latest firmware, nothing changed.
  5. Did not find obvious damage on motherboard. Gave a good IPA cleaning to the connectors either, nothing changed.
  6. The connectors are not damaged, they seem to be perfectly fine.
  7. Switching between front and back cam, nothing changed.
  8. Individually turning on flashlight, nothing happens.
  9. LED notifications does not work either via flashlight
  10. Battery health is 95%, so I think that is not the reason.

Any other suggestions, maybe other than micro-soldering?

It needs the flashlight ic replaced. It's a common problem.

Do you think I could buy a spare flashlight IC and replace it at home?

Or how much it usually cost in a service?

You could do it if you have the equipment and skills. You will need a soldering iron and a hot air station. Along with other miscellaneous supplies and equipment.
