Power button works but no other keys or trackpad does

Hello I recently purchased a used MacBook Air (early 2015), i was told ahead of time that the keyboard and trackpad does not work. I figured could be the flex cable easy fix. Well that wasn’t the problem ended up replacing the whole keyboard and trackpad, however it still does not work and I’m out of ideas. I’ve checked the motherboard, I/o board, flex cables all are good just was dirty. Any help is appreciated

Unless the parts you brought are faulty I think you will find there is corrosion somewhere, whether it is under a chip or a corroded trace, resistor or the connector. You really need the right equipment and knowledge to proceed with a repair like this as you will most likely have to rebuild a trace or replace a chip or small resistor after you find the problem.

If you want help diagnosing the problem you will need to supply the voltages on the connector plus diode readings. We will also require the voltages and diode readings of U4810.

Ok so I took it to the local shop and used there micro camera, we were able to find a bit of corrosion on the Bluetooth/WiFi chip would that be the cause?

@zerokool94 I don’t think so. If you power the system on in boot menu does the keyboard and track pad work?
