Why is the home button not working?

Hello,

I have replaced the screen display and home button twice and I have these 2 issues:

a) the iPhone doesn’t detect the home button (in-screen home button kicks in automatically.

b) The Settings/WIFI interface doesn’t respond. The phone doesn’t let me turn WIFI on. When I touch the On/OFF selection switch, nothing happens.

I am at loss. Any suggestions are welcome.

Julio

About the home button. Sadly the home button won’t work because it is a non physical button, and when you replace it you won’t get Touch ID or functionality back. About the WiFi. Maybe there is a dead spot in your screen that touch won’t work or I am wrong. Maybe a bad WiFi antenna. Hope this helps. Cheers
