Click to Access at Hard Disk

I have an iPod Classic 160 GB, but when I access it through the USB cable and iTunes to upload new music, the iPod clicks from the hard disk and access the hard disk takes a lot of time. How can I fix it? Thanks.

This is just one possibility. You may need to defragment your hard drive. Your songs may be scatted all over your disk and it's taking a long time to locate them. TechTool Pro has optimize files and optimize volume sections that will do the job.. Others here may be able to suggest something better or some freeware to do the job.

Sounds like a bad hard drive, iut may not be completlly dead, so you should still be able to recover your media, but it will eventually die and need to be replaced.

Though this response may come late, when a drive is making actual "Clicking" noises, it's a hardware malfunction, and the best option is just to recover what you can and replace it, or ship it out to a data recovery company to have repaired.
