Repair or replace MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Converter?

My MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Converter has become loose. One side of the laptop side is lose and when pulled out it will not conduct electricity to the laptop. Pushing it back in fixes it.

It just fits into the outer sleeve. Some super glue should work fine, just don’t get it on the contacting surfaces.

If you can I’d actually try to pull it our a bit more, apply the super glue the push it back into place. Maybe softly use some vice grips to hold it in place till it sets up.
