Temperature Sensor Failures and possible fixes

Running ASD on MacBook Air, getting failures on TB1T and TB2T Temperature sensors. Does this require a complete logic board replacement, or is there something less drastic that might fix this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Your error is battery failure!

  • TB1T - Temperature - Battery TS1 Temp
  • TB2T - Temperature - Battery TS2 Temp

Thank you for your answer! Would I get this kind of reading with a third party battery? I replaced the original (or, maybe, second Apple battery) with a battery from OWC just last month, and by all other indications (coconut battery, etc.) it is running fine and within normal temperature parameters...

Apples onboard diagnostics is broken presently after you upgrade to Mojave the newest version of EFI breaks it! As such I haven't been using it ;-{

What I have seen besides a bad battery is liquid damage on the U5810 chip which is where the inputs goto.

So if you've replaced the battery with a known good one and you are still getting the error then I would focus on the logic board.
