Replaced Power Supply Still no Power

I replaced my power supply because i dont even get a red power light and its still not doing anything. What else could it be?

Jared, give this a try. Of course triple check your work first. make sure that all your connections are snug. Hope you got a multimeter as well

1 – Check for loose cables.

2 – Take out all cables and plug them back in.

3 – Try to take out your HDD drive. Once it’s out, put it back in again.

4 – Restart your console.

They will show the layout of your logic boards as well as a parts list. Trace your power supply and see if it is a component on the power circuit that has failed. Good Luck and let us know if and when you get it narrowed down a bit.

+ Good share OT03, I hope you don't mind if I call you that. I caught this off of an earlier posting and it helped my put together a system that I had my time into, but no money into, with a bent motherboard and damage on several layers of the MB. Very few "manuals" are as detailed as these are.

well that could be the motherboard and will need to be replaced
