Can I re-use old battery after trackpad replacement?

Hi all.

Is there possible to re-use the same battery after I’ll replace the trackpad? Can I use for that just two-side stick?

Thanks.

If you didn’t bugger it up, it should be fine. I’d drop it in and test it first before sticking it down.

UPDATE

Did you look at the guide? It takes me about ten minutes to take that battery out using either acetone or methanol. I’ve taken out dozens without a problem except when the battery was already swollen.

Yea, you're right.

I planned to use the building string or something like that just to save the battery and do it very careful. I was watching a lot of videos on youtube, and there're a lot of approaches where people done it with strings.

As I understand right, I have to remove completely old parts of stick and then place new one. Hope my thoughts are correct :)

Well the stuff that holds the batteries in place can remain adhesive, use your finger to test.
