MacBook Pro won't start

My MBP won't start anymore. All I hear is the optical drive startup sound. When it started it did this a few and then it would boot but now it doesn't start at all. A couple of times that it did start I was able to log in and then it would crash/restart again.

What does the MagSafe LED show you Amber or Green?

by

Green, it works fine. It has been doing this for a while now but this time it's not even starting up no matter how long I leave it running. The few times it did boot up I was able to log in but then it restarted again.

Let’s go for a spontaneous reboot. Unplug the mag-safe, disconnect the battery from the logic board, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Reconnect the battery then the mag-safe. Let us know if it boots.

Still the same. Someone suggested it might be a HD problem. The internal HD is actually dead and I've been using an external HD to boot from buy the internal drive is still in there. Do you think this could be causing the issue. Should I attempt to remove it?

Edit: I removed it and nothing changed

Push the battery test items on the side and see how many lights it shows.

100% even though the battery is not in a good shape. I don't think it's related to power at all as it turns on. The fans are running when this noise is happening. It's trying to start up

Are the LED's blinking?

by

I think it's an overheating issue as it started up in the morning. I'm afraid to out it to sleep or restart though.
