Logic board analyse question

Hello,

So i would like to know what’s the name of the little device which is between the battery connector and the SSD connection, just before the little square named R68443R1D. I found an image where they say maybe an intel Hub (ref for mbpretina 2012 Intel E208B284). so is it the case an is it changeable…Because on my logic board it seems melted a little bit. And even if my battery seems ok and deliver power my system doesn’t start… Any hint? Or am in the mood of changing the whole board ????

Answer this question I have this problem too

How about posting a picture of what you are describing so we get it right.

Adding images to an existing question Please make sure the image is clear and focused on the logic board alone.

Swap the board… without some very expensive equipment, swapping components on the MBP is an impossible task.

There are people, some even helping out here everyday who actually _have_ both the needed skills and the expensive equipment to do the job and usually charge a fraction of the cost of a replacement board.

Kind of like saying an appendix can't be removed. Maybe not by you, but it can be by almost any surgeon that has the knowledge to do it.
