New style liquid indicators
Has anyone noticed the indicators are now black rather than white? I’ve heard a rumour they’re now inspected with UV or black light? Can anyone shed any light and maybe even show a triggered and not triggered examples?
Is this a good question?

I’m also interested to know how they actually work now? I don’t see any difference , even with UV light
@mrancans : Have you found it out yet?

The formulation of the ink and base was improved. There is no visible difference between the old and the newer ones.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the info.
They used to be white , turning red when come in contact with liquid.
Now they are black ... they don't turn red or anything?
Can you explain how they work now?
Thanks!

@racer ken - Magic! ;-}
I'm not a chemist, you'll need to find the supplier and ask them if you much know the magic.
For me it's not important, I don't look at them, I look for other signs which are more troubling corrosion and spill marks.
