There is definitely something more damaged internally than just the LCD. I would take it to a local electronic repair shop and have them do a diagnosis on it. I would also contact a place where they do lab repair to see if there is any micro soldering that has to be done. Best of luck!!

It sounds more like a bad screen. I would try another LCD to see if it makes a change

The Touch ID and home button won’t work and you’ll have to use assistive touch. Only apple can fix it. Make sure you plug in all of the connectors the right way. Hold the power down for a while. Also make sure you didn’t accidentally disconnect the charging port.

The connectors are different and they are bigger components

I recommend a heat gun and a lot of heat. Get Sharp flat metal object, go under the ring and slowly move it up off the frame. A Uspudger could work but Its going to be a little harder. Be careful to not scratch the Frame. Best of luck!!

What it did come with is tweezers and a spudger im sure. Use this guide to get the battery out: iPhone 7 Plus Battery Replacement Loosening the adhesive under the bottom is only going to make it more want to snap more. If you would like to try it without the I opener, use a hairdryer. It works just as well as the iopener or heat gun. Also if the adhesive breaks. Go under the battery with the spudger on the flat side not the point side. Be very carful to not puncture the battery and work your Spudger up the battery. Another way to get it out is to Lift the battery a little and grab the white adhesive with the tweezers and spin the adhesive around the tweezers and pull the rest out to finish the job. Since the iPhone 4 is old and im sure ifixit has had their iPhone 4 battery sitting around forever. I would try another battery to see if it makes a difference. Of course there’s always the chance that there could be a deeper issue but first steps first.

I hope this is an tricky option to get your data, But it won't fix your problem without format. (1) Download and Write Ubuntu live disk to DVD or to your USB. (2) Boot Ubuntu and choose use without installation. (3) On left side bar, your drive will be show, just click it and it'll mount automatically. (4) Copy your data to another partition. (5) Format your problematic partition and reuse it. I would try a reconnection for the Lightning Connector a few times. If that doesn’t work after about 4 tries, its most likely a bad part. I would contact the place where you bought it and get an exchange
