Does the keyboard come with the screws?

Hey! So I just bought a new keyboard for my mac as the old one decided to give up on life, I was looking up on how to do it and I realised I will need screws to secure the keyboard. Do the screws come with the keyboard? If not where can I get them? Thanks!

Hey again, so I received the keyboard today and it does not come with screws. I ended up gluing the keyboard to the rivets and its holding on better than I expected. Perhaps you guys should add it to the item description so everybody who’s buying it doesn’t have the same problem I did. Also you should link the keyboard with this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh7c7H2Y... as there is no guide on how to replace a keyboard.

I’ve replaced a lot of keyboards in my time but this is one I won’t be doing.

Have you looked at how that keyboard is replaced yet:

@kristen any screws included or a guide for actually doing this replacement?

Hey, thank you for your answer! I have seen those videos, they all say you'll need 50 screws to secure the keyboard after removing the rivets. Just would like to know if I have to order the screws from somewhere else as I can't seem to find them on here and they aren't mentioned on the keyboard description. Again, thank you

Some of the eBay sellers have the screws as part of the keyboard sale. These will need to be self threading as you are going to have to drill them in by yourself. I use a small electric Black & Decker driver. Drilling small pilothouse makes this so much easier.

I'm having the same problem. No mention of screws not included with keyboard and no luck finding the screws. I think I'll just send back the keyboard I bought from ifixit and continue using my K380 Logitech blue tooth key board...works great but it's an extra component to carry around. This solution extends the useable life of my 13" Retina MBP late 2013 but it also takes away sales for ifixit. With the new keyboard I also planned to order a new fan, new battery and all the extras that go with it but I'll just save that money now for my next brand new purchase of a laptop.
