Upgrading MacBook Air SSD with MacBook Pro 2015 SSD

Is it possible to use the MacBook Pro SSD and use it for my primary boot drive for my macbook air? I am planning on replacing the MacBook Pro with an Aura Pro X 1TB drive, replace the MacBook Pro’s OEM SSD in the MacBook Air, and use the 120GB ssd from the MacBook Air in the Envoy Pro enclosure as an External SSD.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Take the time to review this great guide The Ultimate Guide to Apple’s Proprietary SSDs.

One of the problems you can face is the physical size of the SSD's are not the same and may not fit. You also have the I/O of the different series.

Yep, since the OWC Aura Pro X SSD supports both MacBooks you have you can do all that no problem.

You might even be able to boot that SSD on the Air without needing to re-install MacOS.
