Keyboard Replacement, is there a repair guide?

My son spilled a soft drink on his computer. Keys are sticky to the point you can’t use the keyboard. I’m looking to replace the keyboard. I can purchase a new keyboard for around $20 but I don’t see a repair guide showing how to do the replacement. I do see an upper case is available but it’s like $125 and it’s a long multi step process but still doesn’t cover replacing the keyboard .

I read one post that states the keyboard is riveted to the case. I’m up for a multi step process to get this laptop working again, but not so sure I can tackle replacing broken rivets.

Has anyone replaced the keyboard and or do you have a step by step repair like the ones found on this wonderful site?
