Death screen and damage battery

Hello! I am trying to bring back to life my old mac A1185 but eventhough it starts with the regular noise it goes black I have tried several commands but none work.

What I am noticing is that the apple in the back is dead and that also the battery is damage, should it work without battery or does it have to do with the black dead screen?

Please help me out I will appreciate it for ever

After you boot it up, shine a flashlight at an angle to the screen and tell us if you can see the desktop.

And Is this model capable of booting up without a battery because I am sure this one is already garabage

If it toned without the battery, then yes it will start up. The A1185 is a battery number not a machine number. There are some known issues on the A1181models but there are 17 of them. Lets find out which machine you have. Please go here and enter your serial number from the back of the machine and tell us what you have.
